A joint venture signing ceremony was held on 7 December 1994 among Tianma Group, DIC Co., Ltd.(formerly Japan Ink Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.) and Itochu Group They jointly set up Changzhou Huari New Material Co., Ltd.. with a total investment of US $29.9 million and a registered capital of US $15.3 million. The annual design capacity of Huari is up to over 40,000 tons.
In July 1995, Huari started business and annual sales revenue exceeded 50,000 yuan.
In June 1996, Huari UP production expanded and S/BMC production put into operation. Office buildings, workshops and supporting facilities started construction.

In 1998, Huari office building was completed and put into use.
In 2000, production volume exceeded 10,000T for the first time, and sales revenue exceeded 100 million yuan. Huari has obtained the British EISO9001 quality management system certification.
In February 2001, Huari was named Jiangsu high-tech enterprise.
Huari obtained a certificate of ISO/TS16949 quality system certification by LRQA in 2003.
In 2004, Huari became a Japanese sole-invested enterprise.

In 2008, Huari changed the company logo, put forward the “New Materials New Life“ as business philosophy. And full implemented CSR(Corporate Social Responsibility) activities. In November 2008, Itochu transferred 19.8% of its shares to Japan DIC Group.
Huari officially relocated to new plant (No2 Donggang Road 3, Xinbei District) in December 2011.
In February 2012, trial production of DIOVAR resin started and floor paint resin business opened up.
In 2020, new equipment for resin production completed with annual resin capacity over 10,000T.
